What we do

We facilitate important, but difficult one-on-one and group discussions.

Scope

These discussions may range from executive performance contracting and /or performance feedback to cultural diverse work team conflict resolution sessions. It can include discussions in operational or project environments.

Even family related discussions between husband and wife, life partners, parents and children can be accommodated. (Please note that such discussions are not meant to be therapeutic in nature.)

Discussions can take the form of complex role or expectation clarification sessions or conflict resolutions. More exciting even are positive but complex creative discussions meant to generate new (business?) ideas.

Although we leverage a core skill: Facilitation of conversations, we do not act as formal mediators (from legal or labour relations perspectives).

Our facilitators:

Our facilitators are experienced and well qualified staff, all post graduates in psychology or other behavioural sciences related to Life Coaching in the broader sense.

Facilitation methodology and process

We follow (and up-front agree to) well developed methodologies and processes in a flexible and “fit for purpose” manner.

We pursue an end state where the issue is successfully resolved, or participants have agreed to a plan in which they can move forward.

Code of conduct

Our facilitators and participants will, at commencement of discussions, commit and contract to a “code of conduct” where roles and key behaviours are clearly defined, before the actual discussions have eve started.

Business

The facilitation process will be pre-ceded by a “business contract” where we not only agree the desired deliverables, but also on the process which will enable them, a “milestone pathway”.

Pre-preparation

Depending on the needs of the participants, and the nature of the situation or issue, pre-preparatory sessions may be considered /conducted to inform and sensitise participants on key factors which may impact on the discussions. Topics may cover situation relevant aspects such as:

Power of paradigms (our mental frames of references)

Preferred way of thinking (e.g. our ‘brain profiles’ and personality traits)

Values and belief systems (re Spiral dynamic Value systems approach)

Conflict resolution techniques

Idea generation concepts
